The US and Israel have today launched “major combat operations” against Iran, according to US President Donald Trump, with “several senior figures” from the Iran regime having been “eliminated” according to Israel officials. Israeli Prime Benjamin Netanyahu has said that there are “growing signs” that amongst the dead are Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
