We have done the analysis of the proportions with this picture which can be used for modeling. Next, we are going to analyze the contour of the wolf's body. The primary principle of analysis is from rough shape to details step by step. To get a rough contour shape, we can find each turning point along the contour and connect them with lines. Take this picture as an example. We add a new layer. Observing the side contour of the four limbs, we find and mark four points on it and link them to form a line. These turning points are crucial for us to efficiently draw the accurate outline of fourlims. We can employ the same method to the inner side of fourlims. Mark the turning points and connect them. So are the other parts. The next one is the head. Here is the side view of the head. Similarly, we can find out the turning points and connect them. Then we got a complete and accurate outline of the head. But this is not perfect yet. A principle I mentioned before is from rough shape to detail step by step. The structure of the head is complex. It's not a simple contour as the form. There are more subtle structural turnings which we will further analyze. We add a new layer and change the brush color. Mark some finer turning points based on the previous analysis. Now we got a finer outline. So we got a new outline. That is the effect we need. All right, the analysis for the side view is done. Now let's do a quick exercise with the ears. First mark out several distinctive turning points and then connect them to create a rough outline. Due to the complexity of the contour of the ears, we have to further mark more points. Let's reconnect these points into an accurate outline. Okay, we have completed the analysis for the ears after marking twice. Click to reopen the layer of the head.
