O amplificador de potência SMSL PA-X revoluciona tudo!

Hi guys and welcome back to Is it worth it reviews. Today we are going to talk about another GAN gallium nitride amplifier that will try to break the record of what you get for the amount of money you pay and it's about SMSL ax. Now SMSL uh like many Chinese manufacturers call this power amplifier but in reality it's something between power amplifier and integrated amplifier because it does have a volume control volume attenuation. So it's not just a slab with a gain. You don't need to use a separate preamp. But on the other hand, it's actually very simple, just like a power amp because in the back, aside from speaker binding posts, we have one set of RCA single-ended inputs and one set of XLR balanced inputs. So only one analog input, which is usually common for power amplifiers. You can also see the power inlet here. It's AC, meaning that the whole power supply is located inside the unit. There is no external power brick. And that's quite impressive being that this is a stereo amplifier with integrated power supply being this big and providing 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 250 W per channel into 4 ohm loads. Now once it's turned on you can see there is a small LCD display on the left side of the unit. It lets you see what volume uh is adjusted and there's even a menu but there is not much to tinker with there because this is a power amplifier basically integrated amplifier so no filters and things like that. What you can adjust is are your speakers four or 8 ohm loads. A small remote control is also included so you can normally operate the unit from your couch. uh that's necessary for integrated amplifiers in my opinion. Oh, one more thing I forgot to mention. If you want, you can buy two of these and then use them in a bridge mode as a mono amplifier. That way you get twice the power rating, probably better stereo separation and even wider, more detailed sound stage. I haven't tried that, but if you want, you can. And one last thing that I should not forget is that SMSL PAX goes for $700. So stereo amplifier $700. New modern GAN technology. And let's see what all of that says about its performance. I started listening to Pax in my main uh room setup and uh I was immediately struck by how high resolution, highly detailed this amplifier is. And given that I started that listening with some of my favorite female vocals, I was uh mostly impressed by how realistic, big,
