The NEW CineFocus Effect in DaVinci Resolve 21 is [Not so] Amazing!

There are so many new tools and features to discover and try out in DaVinci Resolve 21 , but one of my favorites by far is the new CineFocus effect , which allows you to define the focal point in a shot , and then you can adjust the aperture and the focal range to change the depth [music] of field . But, the problem is that while the idea, the concept is amazing , it's great, the results [music] look far from perfect . When it works, it looks great , but let me just show you. . Let me show you how it works and [music] also why I like the idea of this tool so much . Because we already had the depth map, for example, right ? That's a tool that also allows you to blur the foreground and background to create a shallower depth of field , but [music] it takes more time , and the result, well, it's not easy to make it look great . [music] See, a lot of times you have to deal with these halos and stuff like that . So, it's difficult to get a good result . And the CineFocus effect, well, [music] it it's like supposed to solve all those problems . And at first glance, it does , but then, yeah, no. But f . I prefer to use it in the color page , but totally up to you, [music] of course . And then, the first thing you have to do is just click in your image to set the focal point of the shot . So, what do you want to be in focus
