In this video, I traveled down to California to play in the San Diego Paddle [music] Palace Open . In preparation for this tournament, I changed my backhand rubber to a new sheet of Big X05 , which ends up being a huge process, and then travel down and play the tournament . Be sure to stay tuned for this video as I cover day one of this tournament where I have some exciting matches against some new opponents , as well as a chance to get a rematch against a 2200 fisherman legend . Yo, what's up guys ? Josh Musbang here. . So, today is Monday, May 18th, the week of the San Diego Paddle Palace tournament . We're going to be headed down on Thursday for Memorial Weekend to play that tournament . And we actually ran into a quick dilemma . Also, I know I need a haircut . I have one tomorrow. . This is probably the longest I've gone without a haircut , like 3 to 4 weeks since my barber was in Vietnam . So, we'll have a fresh cut next time you see me as well . But I essentially had a dilemma, right ? So, okay, that's not the right blade . Essentially, as you guys know, I switched to 40° blue sponge hurricane on the forehand from 41°, which I like a lot. That's fine . Now, I like the rubber on the backhand digno 5, but as you can see here , if you can see it, there's a slight chip . At first, I was just going to keep it because I've been using this rubber for four to five weeks . Yeah, I think at least four weeks or so. And the feeling is still good . I don't need to change it from a durability and performance standpoint . But this chip does kind of bother me . And I feel like when I push, if it hits here , you know, it's I mean, I shouldn't be hitting here , but I'm just scared if it's like the edge . It just feels a bit sus. So, I wasn't going to replace it before this tournament just because the feeling felt nice . But I don't know. I feel like it's going to bother me
