BMCU Build - Part 2, Issues 😟

Okay, guys. So, here's an update on the BMCU on the X1 Carbon. When I load filament, recognizes that there's filament in there, pulls it in, all that good stuff. The light is white on the back. Hopefully, you can see that there. Only issue is I have AMS here, and that is the only AMS that it will see. I've tried different firmware versions on the printer. I've went through right now I'm on 10. I've tried 67 8 9 and 10. 6 7 and 8 will recognize the BMCU as an AMS. But when I input the filament type, it will only last like one or two seconds and then it forgets it or disappears. Not really sure. But I mean, this works. it just doesn't show up. Or if it does show up, I can't keep a filament type. So hopefully that's something that can be fixed in a later firmware on the BMCU. I've tried 19 and 20 on that. Currently 20 is what's on it. But for now, I guess I'm kind of at a standstill with this project, unfortunately. But hopefully something will come up in the next month or so and we can try this out a bit more.
