[music] [music] [music] Good day friends. It's Andrew here again from Nature's Image Photography. And in this video, I want to offer up some love to one specific feature of the Panasonic Lumix cameras that I don't think gets enough attention, and that's the quick menu. [snorts] The value of a good quick menu can't be overstated. Anytime you can avoid scrolling through hundreds of items in the main menu and go straight to the setting you want, you're going to have a better photography experience. And the quick menu on a Panasonic Lumix camera can be one of the best in the business. I say can be because what you get straight out of the box is not what I expect to see in a quick menu. In fact, if you're coming from another brand, you might not know quite what to make of it because it doesn't contain some of the features you'd normally expect to see. But unlike other brands, the quick menu you get is not the quick menu you're stuck with. Think of it more like a blank canvas ready for you to make it your own. Happily, Lumix are masters of customization, and the quick menu is no exception. If you don't like the default option, you can simply change it to suit your needs. There's a truly mind-boggling array of functions available to be included. So, whatever your approach to photography, you can customize your quick menu to suit. In [snorts] this video, I'm going to take you step by step through how I took the default quick menu on the Lumix G9 Mark II and reshaped [snorts] it to suit my needs. Before we start, I want to make two things very clear. First, what you see me doing here on the G92, you can do for yourself on pretty much any Lumix G or Lumix S camera. And second, I'm not suggesting you should set your menu up the way I set up mine. The point here is you can make your quick menu whatever you want it to be. Now, let's get on with the demo. So, the cicatas are pretty noisy in my backyard this afternoon, so I hope you can hear me over the sounds of summer. Now, as much as it pains me to do it, what you've just seen me do there is um reset the custom settings on my camera, which returns, among other things, the Q menu, uh to its original state as if it had come straight out of the box. So, the Q menu you see on the camera right now, is the default option. Um, now, this is not my preferred option. Um, there's a few things I'd like to change.
