So, you want to build your own website. You open up your laptop, go to Google, and type in how to make a website. And suddenly, you're buried in terms like HTML, CSS, hosting, domains, SSL, and so on. And it all feels way more complicated than it needs to be. So, let's cut through the noise because here's the total truth. Anyone can build a real professional website, even complete beginners. And in this video, that's exactly what we're going to do. We're going to be building [music] a clean, professional brand website just like this. And we're not skipping any steps. We're covering design, pages, domain names, all of it. And most importantly, it's going to be straightforward. [music] It's going to be clear and not painful at all. So, let's do this. So, here's the website that we're going to be building. I'm building a website for my YouTube channel, the one that you're watching right now. Create a pro website. It's intentionally very simple. It's a logo, a navigation menu, and a clean homepage that explains what the channel is about. This exact layout works for small businesses, personal brands, freelancers, and portfolios. Okay, so before we touch anything else, our first job is to choose the right tool. Almost every website on the internet is built with some kind of tool, and there are hundreds of them. But for simplicity, we're going to break them into three main groups. You've got frameworks, CMS, which is content management systems, and website builders. Most websites fall into one of these three. Most people don't know how to code, so you can completely ignore frameworks. They're just environments that allow you to code your own site, which we're not going to be doing today. And then CMS and website builders are on the other end. And I rank them together, but not equal. Here's why. A website builder like Wix or Squarespace is a visualbased builder. It's easy to use and it requires zero coding. And a CMS like WordPress is very similar to a website builder, but it allows you to use any visual builder that you want.
