What's up, guys? My name is Tony and today I'm going to give you a quick and painless guide on installing Geek System. Geek System is one of the final non-leacy dros here in 2027. And like Nyx OS, it is in the category of endgame for Linux users. This is in part because of its design philosophy, but also because of its Neoetch flex potential. If someone sees you post a Neoetch screenshot of Geeks, they will immediately defer to you on any technical debates. This is going to be part one of a geeks tutorial series and that's because there is a massive rabbit hole to go down here. Not just with Geeks, but with Emacs GNU in general. So, at the end of this guide, you'll no longer be allergic to free software and you'll be able to install Geek System on your own hardware. Let's jump into the installation. All right, so let's head over to geeks.ganu.org. Let's go ahead and click the download dropdown and hit standard here. And we're going to be using the GNU Geeks System 1.5.0 ISO today. So, go ahead and grab this x8664 ISO and then we'll save that. So, I will be following along with the GNU Geeks manual here. And we do have access to the English version if that is something you are more comfortable with. So, that being said, we'll go ahead and click on that today. And I will put a link to this reference manual below the subscribe button. So, the first thing we're going to do is load up the ISO. All right. So, I have loaded up this geeks ISO here. And I will be doing this on a virtual machine for the tutorial, but I have ran geeks on bare metal on several different systems. So the instructions will be very similar on bare metal. So let's go ahead and boot this GNU geek system here. All right, so we see this beautiful TUI here and we are only going to have to answer two questions here. We're going to set our local language, which is going to be English for me. Now I am in the United States here, so I will select that. And now we see this GNU Geeks install prompt. And for this, there is a graphical installation tool. I've never used it. As you guys know, I will be using the shellbased process because it is going to be easier for me.
