A quick preview of the first subtitles so you know what the video covers.
Hello, this is a Jet Technote. This video is for beginners in low poly. We'll explain low poly modeling by creating a simple animal. I'll assume you have basic knowledge of the Blender interface. If you're not familiar with Blender, please watch the beginner tutorial linked below. To start, you need a basic reference image. I'll access Dimension Guide dot com to download one. Let's search for a dog. You can download various animal images using this site. I'll download a Dingo dog. The size of the dog will appear, and you'll see file formats on the right. Click "Download," then "jpg." Right-click and save the image with a different name, then move the file using the shortcut "Ctrl + Shift + Click." Now, I'll roughly follow the basic body shape. Currently, there are some misaligned parts, but we can fix them later by adding loops. So, model the body using these points. Now, it's in wireframe mode. Click "Solid" to switch back. Currently, the mouse movement shows that the dog has no thickness. To add thickness, press "Face Select," then use the shortcut "A" for full selection. Next, press "Extrude" or click "Extrude" here. Use the shortcut "2" or click "Extrude."
