c] I got you . Duplicate your clip. Disable the bottom one . Open effects browser. Look up for death map and drag it onto the top clip . Turn on invert checkbox . Open isolate specific depth. Enable isolation and raise the target depth till the image is completely white . Set key frame . Hover playhead to the middle of the clip and lower depth till the image is also completely white . step closer to the end of the clip and set depth back again to around 1.4 . So now we have this line which goes up and down through the image . If you enable bottom clip and change composite mode of the top one to divide , we get this white line that looks like a scanner . Okay. . Place the top clip one track up . Duplicate the bottom one to the second track and trim it like so. App . Approximately when the scanner line is on the subject and out . Open effects browser and type false color . Drag this effect onto the middle clip . Disable values and scale. Se . Set plug-in mode to creative . Open pre-processing tab and increase blur value a little and change composite mode to difference . You can play around with composite modes and false color look and choose the one you like . It's up to you. . This middle clip is basically our main effect which appears after the scanner moves to the top . Now we need to make a seamless transition between this blue purple clip and original one . So open effects browser and apply blur dissolve transition
