[Music] he [Music] [Music] [Applause] summer break over the quick fit British Touring Car Championship is back in action the second half of the season begins right here we're at Croft in North Yorkshire the sun is shining after a bit of heavy rain at lunchtime but the circuit is drying all the while and around this 2.1 mile circuit it's going to be a dramatic qualifying session that is for certain again we've got our quick six format whittling down the 20 entry through the two groups in q1 to 12 cars into Q2 and then that final six that will determine the pointy end of the grid and they're all coming here chasing Jake Hill the championship leader he's had a great season so far with five victories Tom Ingram though is only four points back then you've got Ash Satan who had by his standards a weekend to forget at ton park it is Dan camish fourth ahead of Josh cook and then Colin turkington with Aaron Taylor Smith seventh and Adam Morgan in eighth so the qualifying session coming up very shortly out on track at the moment cars from Porsche Carrera cup GB we're running slightly behind schedule here at Croft after one or two dramas and a few clearup operations have had to go on earlier on in the day in some of the other activities uh across free practice Tom Ingram Josh cook the fastest two drivers so we'll start to see when we get into the bones of qualifying whether it's going to be front or rear wheel drive it used to be a very rear wheeel drive base circuit this but over time perhaps that has just started to change a little bit
