So, Regal sent us something really cool to try out today. I'm excited to give this thing a shot with some decoding. Uh, I already tried some decoding with my other scope on a previous stream, but what's in this package is a brand new scope from Regal that should give us some really cool flexibility when it comes to probing and decoding highfrequency signals on consoles or on anything else for that matter. So, I'm excited to give this thing a shot and compare it to the other scope I have. And we'll dive into the different specs that matter on scopes and why they matter. and I'll actually be able to visualize for you uh exactly why they matter in a real world scenario. So, let's get this thing open and see what Regal sent us and give it a try. I didn't look into this scope too much cuz I wanted to sort of see what this thing is capable of, but from the pictures of it, this thing looks beautiful. Wow, it comes with a really nice case. And it looks like they sent us maybe some probes. Okay, so this is going to be for the logic analyzer that's actually in the scope. So, I'll put this aside for now and we'll open that in a sec. We've got a power supply here. Very nice 100 watt uh USBC power supply. And here's the uh scope itself. It comes in a really nice bag. It's kind of like a one strap backpack type situation. Oh, wow. It comes with like a battery in the bag or something. We'll have to check that out. All right. And in the front here, got a bunch of probes and a little wireless USB adapter here. So, we can take a look at one of these probes here. So, I believe this does uh 500 MHz, which is pretty nuts. And you can see it's just 10 to one uh by default here. There's no like switch like there is on the other probe. The reason for this is they're designed for measuring uh high frequency signals. I believe the switch introduces problems when measuring super high frequencies. So they just omit that.
