foreign [Music] welcome to number 27 I'm Jack and on this Frosty British day I am here with this fantastic Aston Martin virage this is a particularly rare car because it came with a five-speed manual instead of the slush box now they are a bit confusing these because the same car was essentially known by four different names there was the virage there was the Vantage there was the Volante and there was the V8 Coupe very interesting though for other reasons too this was the last handmade Aston Martin it was also a car that had an engine that dated back to the 60s and yet when this was on sale one of those variations on the Vantage was at one point the most powerful car in the world and lastly it's linked to Mr Bean now I think that these are fundamentally flawed cars but I'm going to take you out and I'm going to tell you why this is the Aston Martin that you should be buying and of course I'll tell you all about how it drives foreign okay so first of all let me quickly take you through the different variations of the virage the virage this one that I'm in 1990 that's pretty much when it was released it was designed back in 1987 . so although Ford had taken control of Aston Martin by this point this was still a complete traditional Aston Martin after the virage came the Vantage which was in 1992-93 which was the performance version that had a twin supercharged
