[Music] [Applause] another important year sub masking and rotoscoping is color grading for example maybe you want a color grade when part of a shot separate from the rest of the shot of course resolve has an advanced color grading tab and this does support some masking and row scoping functions however it's not quite as powerful as what you have available inside fusion by same token you can color great infusion that's not nearly as advanced as the color tab so how do you combine the best of both worlds how you can bind the masking or scope infusion for the color grading of the color tab the trick is to use multiple media outs let's see how that works some on video 18 now when we have a new shot perhaps we want to color grade the bridge separate from the rest of the shot I'll go ahead and make a second Media out that's under i/o media out to make things a bit more simple we can also have multiple media ins in this case because we only have one clip the media and two were actually pulling the same shot it's a quick way to have two iterations of the same timeline go ahead and make that add tool io media in what to cut out the bridge so I'll go ahead and add a new mask I'll use a polygon I cut out the bridge I'll do this fairly quickly feel free to spend as much time as you need to to make a nice mask
