I Tried Facebook Marketplace iPhone Reselling

iPhone reselling is the side hustle where you seek out listings on Facebook Marketplace to find cheap used iPhones . You buy them, clean them up, take some better pictures, and then put it back on the market for a higher price, pocketing the difference . This isn't a new side hustle by any means, but I've always wanted to try it. So, as an unbiased beginner wit h nothing to gain from the results of this video, whether it's good or bad, I'm going in with a $1,000 budget to see how much money I can make doing this. At least, I hope I can make a profit for my first time . But, let's go ahead and get started . Now, before I start looking and messaging sellers, I need to scope out the market value of each phone so I know how much I can expect to sell them for after I buy it . To do that, I'm just going to open Facebook Marketplace here and look at the average prices of each phone . So, I can see here in good condition, the iPhone 13 goes for about $300 . The 14 for 350, 375, and the iPhone 15 goes for 4 to 450 . Of course, the higher tier versions like the Plus and the Pro go for a little bit more . And unless I see a really good deal, I'm sticking to the 13, 14, and 15 . I'm not really interested in phones that are more than 3 years old because they don't really sell for that much and the of course, I said, "Yes, I'll do a lower price." And she just left me on red, so I don't know how much she was expecting . Wait, wait, wait. You had five strokes ? Well, [ __ ] Now that you said that, I'll just give it to you for free . And then I got a message from a Michael who started off with a normal inquiry and then threw in a Door Dash ain't cutting it, is it ? So, it's a [ __ ] sub . Michael, this isn't the time for jokes . This is business . My theory pricing items this high is that people would see my listing , be interested, but not at that price. So, they would shoot me a lowball offer . I would agree to a price drop drop, but somewhere in the middle , and then that's the price I actually wanted to get in the first place . So, we agree on that . He gets the phone and I get some cash . But what these prices actually do y do is make people not want to message me at all. They'll scroll . They'll see my listing
