How To Install & Use Tampermonkey On Google Chrome Desktop Browser | Run Custom Scripts

In this video, we will see how to download, install and use the Tamper Monkey extension on Google Chrome desktop browser. So, let's check it out. The user interface for doing all this might change in the future. If that happens, please let us know in the comments. We will share the updated steps for this. Tamper Monkey is a popular web browser extension using which we can run custom user scripts on websites. These user scripts can do a lot of different functions which enhances our browsing experience. So to download and install the Tamper Monkey extension we have to open the Chrome browser and then go to this three dot menu then go to extensions then go to visit Chrome web store. We will get a new tab like this or we can simply Google Chrome web store and we can open this link and here we have to search for uh tamper monkey this one and we can select this add to chrome option. We can see these screenshots and read all about this here. After that we can select add to chrome. We will get this confirmation. Please read all these and then select add extension. That's all. Now it is added successfully installed. We can go to this extensions icon and we will have this tampered monkey one. We can pin this to the browser bar for quick access. So here we get this please enable developer mode to allow user script injection. So to do this we have to go to extensions again manage extensions and here we have to go to this uh before that we have to enable the developer mode. Here we have to enable this and then we can go to details and here we have to enable allow user scripts. This will allow us to run code which has not been reviewed by Google. So we have to keep in mind not to use any unsafe scripts. We should also make sure that we have enabled the tamper monkey extension. We can select this to disable and we can select this again to enable. Then we can go to the browser extension and then we can go to dashboard. So this is the tamper monkey dashboard.
