I am going to hit record and we are going to start so let's get start ed with just some housekeeping so hi I'm nref uh I've been doing lighting uh operation design etc for about 10 years now um I started using Magic Q and it somehow followed me throughout my entire Journey so I might know a little bit about using it um some of the more recent features that they've put out um I don't use as much so I won't be going over too much here this this is going to be more of like an introductory crash course um and how I lay out my own show files and do it not necessarily every single way that you can do a show file um but there are other people who know far more than me about specific stuff and they're welcome to speak up and share their experiences once I'm done going over this uh so this talk will be recorded and I will be posting the VOD for it in the AV Den afterwards if anyone wants to go back and watch or if anyone was able to make this and wants to be able to see um if you are interested in looking at the show files for this afterwards um I will be posting them on my GitHub specifically github.com nfav is the repository I'm going to put it in the text chat for this channel um I have some older versions on there right now but I still need to I'll upload like the um show shows that I show off in here uh once those are done uh and then finally uh post questions that you have in the meeting chat room I know some people have difficulty speaking up so feel free to ask via text chat just in there or you can speak up whenever I asked as I go through I'll be stopping at points and asking if people have any questions and going through the chat to see what people have asked so uh any questions before I get started with this me nope all right cool let's get started then so uh to start with uh Magic Q is and if you aren't already looking at my screen share you should be looking at it
