how to nail a transition every time

Welcome back to the channel. Today I'm going to break down the sound design and visual effects that I used in this video. So that was a quick transitional product video that I shot for a brand called Icorus Football. It was for the release of their collaboration kit with the band Maruja. I filmed this all by myself on location in Yokohama and my friend Kai. Go ahead and check out Kai. He's got his own YouTube channel. He modeled for this video. And today I just want to break down how I went about shooting this particular video. And also I want to go in depth on the sound design that I used for the transitions and overall feel of the video. Super casual. If you have any questions at any point, leave them down in the comments below. Let's hop right in. All right, so hopping into the timeline here. As you can see, there's not much going on in terms of the visual aspects. I've just got a bunch of layered clips here and then some adjustment layers. And then you can tell there's a lot more going on in the sound design for this project. And that's something I want to focus on today, a little bit more on the sound design part. And all of these sounds are sourced by Epidemic Sound. You can find every single one of these sounds here, even the track on Epidemic Sounds. The original video was shot and filmed for this band called Maruja. The intro sequence is comprised of a few different sound effects and basically some quick cuts. And quick cuts are super easy to layer together with mini sound effect. And the sound effects that I used for the intro are these clicking sounds. And then I also used this shimmer from Epidemic Sound. I used a couple different risers. This first one is a power up power up object. And the second one is what is this one? This was just a sharp detail riser. If I just take these four sounds right here and play them together for you, these three sound effects are coupled for that rising action. And then this is just that intro sort of quick cut sound effect.
