Building a Utahraptor Education Center! | Speedbuild | Jurassic World Evolution 3

Welcome back to Fossil last time you tuned in we created the perfect home for the Titanosaur herd , but today we'll be tackling a new challenge, the Utahraptor . The plan is to build an education center for the guests to learn more about these magnificent animals . I will be taking you through the process of building the education center and the environment the Utahraptors will live in . My goals with this build are the Raptors and guests must be able to walk through the building and the building must be integrated seamlessly into the terrain . Now with that all said, let's begin . Building terrain and building structures are two very different things . One is organic and the other is artificial and finding that balance between them can be very challenging , but with enough practice you can meet in the middle . This was the very challenge I ran into at the beginning . From the start I knew the environment needed to look a certain type of way, both natural and artificial . At the same time I also knew the focal point was the structure itself, not the environment . The environment was there to elevate the building and make them work in tandem . So I started by shaping the habitat . So when I get to the main facility, they blend together nicely . After I got the water in place, I wanted to start placing rocks just so I could have that area kind of set so I knew what it would look like more or less . Once I completed the floor, I had to lower it into the ground, but I also have to make sure that the ground is as close as possible to that foundation . Otherwise, once I turn off collision, the raptors will walk through it , but if it's too high , their legs will clip and it will not look good For the entrance that the raptors will walk through , I didn't want it to look anything super crazy . I wanted it to be fairly basic while also looking interesting . I used these new pieces from the rebirth expansion to create a nice archway over the door . Never fear to repurpose parts of your blueprints . For example, I used a threshold of my high security gate set . This was done to cut some time down on the build process as well
