A quick preview of the first subtitles so you know what the video covers.
Now, that was smooth. And today, I'm going to show you the pro techniques that takes your shaky footage into the smoothest footage you have ever seen. And we're going to be tackling some real problems. One of them being how do you stabilize footage that goes through separate rooms as well. I may have just created one of the best stabilizing tools inside of Da Vinci Resolve. And we're going to talk about that later on in the video. All right, let's get started. And now, in this case, I'm not going to go through and show you how to do any of these speed ramps because I have plenty of videos showing you guys how to do speed ramping. You can find those videos on my channel. I just want to focus just on the stabilization today. But you can see that every clip does have some speed changes, which is just going to amplify any of the shaky footage. Now, this first clip right here is the most complex. So, we're going to dive into that later. And we're going to start with this easy clip, which is speed ramping out of this bedroom right here. So, let's go and jump into the Fusion page. Now, even though we're in the Fusion page, this is going to be quite beginner friendly, so don't worry about it. So, the way that we're going to stabilize this footage is with a point tracker. And you may have seen tutorials on this before, but I'm going to show you some unique tips and tricks that actually help you retain more of your resolution and lets you not have to crop in as much into the footage. So, let's go ahead and get started. So, we're going to go closer to the bed of frame rate here, uh, right about there. And we're going to add a tracker node. With the tracker selected, you're going to either have an Intelly tracker or if you're on the free version, you're going to have a point tracker. So, if I delete that Intelly tracker, here's my point tracker. And in this case, I'll show you this first clip with the point tracker. Uh, just for those of you who do not have uh Da Vinci Resolve Studio. Uh, so you're going to grab this box and drag it over top of a high contrast area. So, I'm going to grab this giraffe right here.
