[Music] If you work in Blender often, you probably already know about this tool on the left hand side called measure, where you just click and drag and you can see how big something is from one end to the other, and then you just click on that end and push delete to get rid of it. But there's a way you can consistently keep track by turning on measure measurements uh for your edges or even your corners. And it used to be located up here on the top under overlays, but no more. It is still available though. So if you switch to edit mode, this is important. So just switch over, hit tab on your keyboard or just switch over in the top corner, you'll see this little menu here, mesh edit mode. This is where it is now. So, if you click that and go to edge length, it'll be uncclicked when you originally click it, you're going to select edge length, and that will show you the length of any edge you have selected. So, right now, I'm jumping around and I see that every edge here has a little two 2 meters. It might be a little hard to see for you, but it's there. There it is. Um, and that's kind of helpful, especially when I'm running physics and I want things to be in real world scale. So measurements can can be very important. Um, and it doesn't always seem like it's important, but really even in 3D, it matters that things are true to size. So we're seeing 2 meters here. What else can we do? Well, we can get an edge angle. We see that that edge is at 90°. Face angle. Um, I'm going to switch to face mode. We're seeing everything here. We're even seeing the edges. So that's really useful. Um, I definitely think edge length is the best and uh most helpful. Like for example, if I select one of the edges and just scale it out, you're seeing how it's changing and I can get it exactly the size I want. And I see everything else was affected. This one wasn't by that change.
