Today we're looking at this triband Wi-Fi 7 router which has got mesh capabilities, able to transmit at over 10, 000 megabits per second. It's even got 2 and 1/2 gig ports on the back and VPN builtin if you wish to use it. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Today we're taking a look at the Kudi WR1 11000 triband mesh Wi-Fi 7 router. It's designed to give you lightning fast speeds and solid coverage throughout your home or office. Now, Kudy might not be a brand you've heard of yet, but it's definitely one you should keep an eye on. Their products are just beginning to be distributed in the UK. And unlike most new brands that start with budget models, Kudi is launching with an exciting range of high-spec products. The packaging is mainly shades of blue with the products front and center with all the main features listed that you will need. On the back and sides, you have more features and specifications. There's also a QR code for an app as well, but no QR code for more information about the product. Inside the box, you've got the router itself with six adjustable antennas, a power cable that's a little shorter than I'd like at 1.2 m long, as well as an Ethernet cable and the usual paperwork. Now, the router looks impressive, though. Six antennas aren't just for show. They're adjustable, helping the router send stronger and deeper Wi-Fi signals throughout your space. On the back, you have four high-speed 2 and 1/2 GB Ethernet ports. Ideal if you're transferring lots of data or streaming highquality content within your network. That's over twice as fast as the standard 1 GB ports you'll find on most routers. So, you may be asking, what is Wi-Fi 7? Well, it's the latest wireless standard offering faster speeds and the ability to handle way more devices at the same time. And it ensures smoother connections. This router is triband, meaning it uses 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and even the latest 6 GHz band, helping you manage traffic efficiently and cut down on interference. It also means you can use older and newer devices with it without any issues. One of my favorite features is the Kudi Mesh capability. You can connect multiple Kudi easy mesh devices around your home or office using Wi-Fi. This allows all the devices to work together, eliminating dead zones. You can add up to 12 nodes, though two to three typically does the trick in most spaces. One thing to keep in mind, though, is mixing Wi-Fi 6 devices may slightly limit your performance, so sticking to Wi-Fi 7 nodes gives you the best results. Setup is straightforward thanks to the Kudi app available on both Android and iOS.
