Hi everyone, welcome back to the channel. I'm just doing a super quick video today to compare the Ruby app with Zift and my Whoosh. So, if you're new to indoor cycling or you're just wondering how the apps compare with each other, then this video is for you. I first started using Zift back in 2021 when I began training for triathlons and I absolutely loved it. I stuck with it for 3 years, but when the price increased last year, around the time that I moved to New Zealand, I had to start being a little bit more budget conscious. A friend of mine recommended my wish, saying it was just like Zift, but completely free. So, I gave it a go and used it for the next year. More recently, Ruby reached out and offered me a subscription, so naturally, I was keen to give that a try as well. Honestly, all three platforms will help improve your cycling, so it doesn't really matter which one you choose. Okay, my first impression of the Ruby app. Um, how incredibly real everything looks. It honestly feels like someone went out and filmed the roots just so you could experience them from the comfort of your living room. I mean, look at that. Isn't it pretty? I'd much rather be there than here. Lame. Especially if you're planning a cycling trip, but you're not quite sure where to go yet. With Ruby's huge library of realworld routes, you can ride and explore different destinations virtually before committing to the cost of flights and travel. For example, if I wanted to go to Germany, there are 17 different routes I could do. Alternatively, I could go to Taiwan, Canada, Italy, literally anywhere. If you're a triathlete, one of the major benefits of Ruby is that you can practice the Iron Man courses before actually going. So, if you're like me and you only go on race, then you can explore them first before actually going. For example, if you're competing in the World Champs later this year, you can actually practice the Marba course. or if you didn't get into Marba for whatever reason, they suggest a bunch of similar routes in terms of course profile uh that you could go and do instead. It also gives you a chance to prep for race day by practicing the course as many times as you want to get an edge over your competitors. In addition to Iron Man, they also have the challenge events. So, if you can't decide which challenge event to do next, or if you wanted to relive the memories from one that you've done before,
