Hello, everyone. This probably isn’t my first time in this auditorium Some of you may have attended Our presentations over the past two years In previous years You also saw talks from other miHoYo game designers And in the course of the whole development process There are always some interesting moments And they sometimes also reflect on their own experiences Almost like listing treasured moments from their memory To talk about their own game development experiences For this year’s talk, I plan to do it a bit differently I still want to share with everyone Some of my own thoughts As well as what I think the students here Can do in terms of planning their own lives - Like some longer term considerations First, let’s start with an old but familiar topic: “What exactly is a game designer? ” Some students might say “Is a game designer just there to fulfill the boss’s KPIs? ” Others might say “Do game designers just keep playing mind games with the players? ” If you were a game designer What is it that you should really be focusing on? First: career prospects The games industry isn’t an industry where it’s easy To produce a breakout hit Its success rate isn’t as high as people imagine miHoYo has always upheld the principle of long term live operations But there’s actually a very strong premise behind that sentence: Your product can’t just be operated long term Simply because you want it to be First, your product has to be strong enough To establish itself in the industry Only then do you have the footing Only then do you have the foundation
