Gun4IR Battery Powered Wireless Emitters

hey guys welcome back to artberg electronics this is ray speaking again so today i had a few people asking me hey can you make uh the uh infrared emitters for gunfire ir wireless or is there a way to do it externally so that the setup is a little easier if you have a cabinet where you cannot uh get into the panel very easily or like an extreme home uh arcade megacade right so this is the solution i came up with it is literally a a battery holder a battery pack alright you can open it up it's got two simple double a batteries inside all right and this just slides in and it even has a power switch right there an on off switch all right with two very high powered leds and this is going to act as the emitter you can mount this any way you can put velcro on the back and just stick it right to the side of the cabinet like stick it on the sides on the bottom okay you can put it horizontally i made the infrared portion over here removable you can adjust it to different angles if you like but i like it this way because the switch is right here right on the front and i can just slide it open without having to just rip it off my cabinet but in this case i have the velcro here i'm gonna stick it onto my existing um monitor which i've turned off my original leds on and we're going to see how it works all right i just aligned it like that and right here i have my gun for ir all right and boom perfect perfect line of sight as always they're super strong very bright all right you you won't be able to see your with your naked eyes of course but yeah i can play my games on here without any issue and it works just beautifully the only downside is of course you have to change your batteries out once in a while i'm still in the middle of uh testing how long these batteries last how bright they stay et cetera you know there's always a trade-off when it comes to these things but yeah this is a the new solution for the easy peel and stick setup if anyone wanted to know all right thanks guys don't forget to like and subscribe
