what if I told you there are only three stitch types and within these stitch es you can create absolutely anything for machine embroidery let's talk about it welcome back Lexie family happy to see you once again and this is one of my favorite topics to talk about if you are new to embroidery and you're just discovering how to create your own designs this video is perfect for you because in the world of machine embroidery you're going to see so many different effects on stitches on designs and you may be thinking to yourself that's something I could never create because it's so complex in reality it all stems from these three stitch types and I'm going to show you how you can use them for your own designs before we get started on how to add them to your designs let's first identify them starting with this one right here this is called a run Stitch if you've ever sewn on a sewing machine or even by hand you know that there's a straight Stitch that goes on a single line well this is called The Run Stitch you can see when I'm clicking on the computer I'm just creating my own run Stitch and it creates a line for you to use in multiple instances now the running stitch has different properties that you can add to it the main thing being a stitch length right now it's a 2.5 mm but we can always increase it to seven we can bring it down to 0.1 although I don't think you'd ever want to do that so I'm going to bring it down to 2.5 and Stitch length refers to the spacing between each Stitch you know you 're roider machine will put the needle through the fabric and out that is one point then this is the spacing between that Stitch so that 's one stitch point then the machine comes out it does
