Game Theory #25: Trump Visits China

So Trump is in China. This happened about um 30 minutes ago, an hour south of US. So Trump came in last night and this morning he met with President C at the Great Hall of the People. And let's just have a quick look. This is him getting out of his limousine. This was brought in from the United States by a military transport. He brought uh his entire cabinet including uh Marco Rubio, the secretary of state as well as Peter Hexev who is the secretary of war. Okay. The last time an American president visited was nine years ago, November 2017. So this is a very historical meeting. And as you may remember, after Trump visited Beijing, um they start the trade war and we've been in a trade war ever since. I think that this meeting is very optimistic for US China relations. A lot has to do with who came with Trump. So um this is from way boore the Chinese Twitter and what Chinese are focusing on is who came with Trump. So many of his family members came with Trump including his son Eric uh his daughter-in-law Lara. um and they were excited about coming to China. Team China guys. Okay. Much more important is the number of business executives who came with Trump. So you have Ellen Musk he does a lot of business in China. Tim Cook of Apple also does a lot of business in China. Boeing is trying to secure a $50 billion um sale to Chinese airlines. And so these are are three um very important business people . And then you have some of the leading financial people in America including Larry Frink of Black Rockck, uh Steven Schwarzman of Blackstone, uh Der Solomon of Goldman Sachs, you have Cityroup, you have Mastercard and Visa. Okay. And these are the leading financial companies in America. And altogether these business executives if you put all their net the company's net worth together their companies are worth over $12 trillion. That's a lot of money
