How to edit a text area in the DIVI Theme

how to edit a simple text area on your wordpress website using the divi theme so for this example we're going to look at this text area here if we want to make changes to this so what i'll do first of all is oh i've logged in already i'll go up the top to edit page and click on edit page and my divi builder will load now you can see there's all these modules the grey areas are anywhere where there's content so there was that slider in images happening at the top there was some blog posts then there was our text area and then our facebook like box so if i want to go in and edit that text what i want to press is the little cog and just to quickly take you through what the other little icons are this one's just to move that around if i wanted to move it to another area uh cog is going in to the module settings then i can i could duplicate this if i wanted to i could save it to a library to use on other pages a library to use on other pages or i could delete it so let's go ahead and press the cog or i could delete it so let's go ahead and press the cog and there's our content uh just like a word editor and there's our content uh just like a word editor i can go in there i can make any changes to it i can go in there i can make any changes to it i like and then what i have to do once i've made those changes is press the green tick is press the green tick and then i have to go up and i have to press update as well and then i have to go up and i have to press update as well so green tick and the update button so green tick and the update button and that will do its thing and then it will sit there and that will do its thing and then it will sit there
