DaVinci Resolve 21 is here. It's time to start diving deep. Here's everything you need to know about the brand new Fairlight Animator. And honestly, right now, what you need to know is mostly its limitations. When I started exploring this new tool, I tried to use it in the wrong way, or in the way that does not you give you good results as it exists now. We're going to talk more at the end about things I would like to see changed or updated or addressed. But, if you're watching this video close to when the beta for DaVinci Resolve 21 is out, here is how you can use the Fairlight Animator right now. I've got this clip. This is just me talking about the new release. We have an entire new page, the photo page, uh and I'm going to hop into the Fusion page, because the Fairlight Animator is a modifier, which means if I, you know, build something super basic. I'm going to add a merge node. I'm going to add a new background color. Hey, let's go ahead and make that green and mask it with an ellipse, put that over that merge node. Wow, it's our video uh with a green circle over it. A modifier means I go to any control , and if I right click, I can go to modify with, and I get this list of new tools. Modifiers are kind of like internal nodes.
