Vaillant Ecotec Pro - How To Change The Canoe Filter

so we're working on a very ecotec pro and we're going to be looking at changing over the little canoe fuel all right so first thing we are going to do is take off the front case to the boiler we have one screw right here and then we have two little clips that we need to push in and case should pop off like so let's grab the front panel drop it down and then our canoe it was going to be right in here now depending on the model the building you have you might have a water pressure center here um that you can take out and visually inspect it inside to see how badly blocked it is so first thing we are going to do is isolate drain down the boiler as we are on the central unit circuit so flow return isolate them with an anarchy um and then we can drain down the boiler using the and we'll just take it out and then our canoe fuel is going to be inside here um okay now usually when i take them out i don't really do anything special i'll use my finger so i put my finger in and i'm kin d of hooking and applying the pressure and pulling so they can be a bit stiff sometimes okay there we go that is our little canoe fuel here now this one is in good shape it's not blocked it's not damaged sometimes they can break apart inside and if that is the case then if we have to take off this whole connection and try get all the pieces out um that's what's probably causing overheating yeah so you would get your new one and we'll just slide back in okay that is that in and then we're just gonna take our flow pipe easy put it in this way and just a quick tip if you do ever get stuck on how it should go maybe you've taken it out you've adjusted a little um it can be a bit fiddly to put back in so just if you just line it up straight like so and then maybe twist the bottom 45 degrees
