[Music] [Applause] [Music] Realme's GT series has always championed to a rock performance without sacrificing the smartphone essentials, camera, display, and crucially a price point designed to compete. The new Realme GT7 series is finally here, arriving in two distinct flavors. The GT7, a direct successor to last year's GT6, and the more affordable GT7T, the model we have in hand. While raw speed remains a headline, the GT7 series, and particularly the GT7, is also fundamentally about something else, sheer longevity. Under the hood, a massive 7, 000 milliamp battery keeps this phone running with Realme claiming an impressive endurance of up to three days with light usage or roughly 9 hours of Mobile Legends gaming and 20 hours of YouTube video playback. The kicker, you'd likely never guess that GT70 packs such a massive battery backup just by looking at it. Seriously, just look at how sleek this device is. Our unit sports a striking blue colorway with some red accents, but is also available in black with gold accents retaining the same matte finish and metallic frame. And while Realme did opt for a plastic frame as opposed to metal, it still boasts IP69, IP68, and IP66 ratings for better all-around water resistance. This makes the Realme GT70 a great choice for tropical markets like the Philippines, where rains can be heavy and erratic. Durability is not an afterthought either. Realme claims the GT70 is built to last, featuring an internal air pad structure design and the combined might of armor shell protection and armor shell class over the display allowing it to withstand drops from up to 1.5 m. Visually, Realme has embraced a mainstream aesthetic. Despite its gaming phone marketing, both the GT70 and its higherend sibling sport a remarkably plain back design, a clear play to attract a broader mainstream audience. You won't find any dancing LEDs, aggressive angles, or niche camera aesthetics here for that matter. But if raw performance is what you're after, the Realme GT70 doesn't disappoint thanks to MediaTek's Dimensity 8400 Max 5G chipset. This 4nanmter silicon features eight powerful Cordex A725 cores clocked at varying frequencies paired with Mali G720 graphics. Our local unit ships with a respectable 12 gigs of physical RAM and 256 gigs of fast UFS 4.0 storage, but unfortunately it's not expandable. Nonetheless, the GT70 offers a fast, responsive experience that mirrors what you'd expect from a modern flagship. Throughout our testing, we encountered zero slowdowns, even with multiple apps running simultaneously on the screen. In a tudo benchmark,
