Most guys don't understand that weight loss actually has two parts. There's the hard part and the easy part. And unfortunately, it's the hard part that cause 98% of guys to quit before they've ever lost the belly fat. I know this because I've recently taken myself from 20% body fat down to 12. And I've seen countless clients go through this same hardship. So, in today's video, what I want to do is cover what exactly is this hard part of weight loss, why it happens, and provide you with the tools to get through it. So, what exactly is this hard part? Well, the big fitness lie that you've been sold is that if you work out multiple times a week, you walk 10,000 steps, and you clean up your diet, then the weight's just going to fall off you. So, that's what most guys do. They start dieting. They start exercising. They start sacrificing the things in life they actually enjoy for this pursuit of losing the weight. But then nothing happens. The scales will stay the same. They'll look the same in the mirror. They'll feel the same. And they'll think, "Well, hold on. I'm sacrificing the things I enjoy. I'm doing what I told I should do, and I'm not seeing any progress." This right here, this is the hard part of weight loss, and it's the biggest motivational killer in the world. One of my clients went through this exactly for the first month. He went from 81.2 kgs only down to 80.3. But then over the next 43 days, he went from that 83 kgs down to 76.3. And I remember how discouraged he was in that first month. And the thing was is he wasn't doing anything wrong. He was dieting. He was exercising his ass off, but the weight just wasn't coming off. Don't fall into this trap of thinking that weight loss is just going to be a straight line down because it's not. One week you could feel like you've cracked the cold, losing tons of weight, and then the next week it'll feel hopeless. So, that's the hard part of weight loss.
