so we're ready to do do some vocals and what we're GNA the what we're going to start out by doing is I'm going to have Graham sing on each of these microphones I I want to do a mic shootout I want to find what sounds most um suitable for him most captures his voice most favorably so I'm not having to do things like over EQ and over compress and and sort of I want to make the best possible Choice um and it's partially dependent on the vocalists the tone of their voice and the way that the way that they sound but then it's also something to observe the way it fits into the production and and what we're recording so we have um a flea u47 copy we have a sure sm7 and then a Sony c37 a which is a Tube Mic as well um so what we'll do is I'll have Graham Sing a a verse or part of a verse and part of a chorus on each microphone we will be using the same preamp for all of the mics and then once we select the mic
