Hello everyone, welcome back! I'm Ian. Have you ever thought about having your AI assistant do more than just look at images or listen to your explanations? What if it could build frontend UI for you directly from a Figma design page? Today, I'm going to introduce you to Figma. I'll show you step-by-step how to connect to a remote MCP server, apply for a Figma Access Token, and configure it in your AI so that your AI can truly understand your designs. Alright, let's get started! What is Figma? Nowadays, most companies use design tools like Photoshop. After a designer finishes a version, they send the file to the engineer. The engineer opens it and sees filenames like: final, final_v2, final_v3, final_final. Then the engineer gets confused, not knowing which one is the latest. I'm sure everyone is familiar with this process. Engineers never know which version is actually the latest. PMs can only look at screenshots of design drafts. If even a small change is needed, this whole process has to start all over again. Instead of accelerating, it ends up slowing down the progress. Against this background, in 2021, two young men in San Francisco— Dylan Field and Evan Wallace— noticed something very strange. Why can Google Docs allow multi-person collaboration, while design is restricted to one person per file? (Repeated thought: while design is restricted to one person per file? ) At the time, everyone believed that design tools couldn't possibly run in a browser; the performance would be insufficient. But they asked a fundamental question: What if we assumed from the start that design is something multiple people do together? What would that look like? So they made a very bold decision back then: to make design tools entirely cloud-based. From day one, they assumed designers, engineers, and PMs would open the same file simultaneously, seeing the same screen and modifying the same version. Figma has a very famous philosophy: "Design is a Team Sport." This sentence sounds simple, but it completely changed the way we think about design tools. In Figma, there is no such thing as "my version,
