So, it's day 15 of the AmericanIsraeli war in Iran . What's the latest update from events on the ground, starting with Israel , they are continuing their attacks against Hezbollah targets in the Lebanon and also in southern Beirut. . Major attacks by Iran . They've been attacking the US embassy in Baghdad . We understand that there were no casualties in that attack . But probably the most significant attack is on Kaj Island which is a major Iranian oil facility . Where is Kaj Island and why is it important ? Let's zoom closer into the region . Kaj Island's about 5 miles long. . It's about 2 and a half miles wide . It's situated in the northern end of the Gulf and it's about 300 miles away from the straits of Hormuz . Central Command has issued a whole series of uh videos showing some of the strikes which our skies data forensic teams have been analyzing . The first are up at Kaj airport . There's been two attacks on infrastructure there , but also two attacks against the main runway . Now runways are relatively easy to attack , but they're also relatively easy to repair . The challenge, of course, is we've not seen much from the Iranian Air Force since the start of this war . So, I don't think repairing that um runway will be a big priority for Iran . On the western side of the island, they've been attacking the IRGC air defense complex. . We understand there were six attacks there , four against the uh infrastructure targets , almost certainly trying to degrade or destroy Iran's ability to be able to protect the island
