Introduction to the Options Profile (Livestream)

thank you everybody for for hopping in uh the idea here today is really just to go over the options profile um like I said in the blur and I'm going to go go over it from a few different perspectives um and then we're going to look at uh something that actually happened this morning which despite the fact that today's Opex and in theory um you know zero DTE is a little bit less influential influential sorry um still seemed to pan out pretty well this morning um so yeah I mean starting from the top right uh if you guys read in the documentation like and I'd really recommend going through some of this stuff um I know it's some of it's a little bit dry but um it really is some of the best uh the best way we found so far to summarize this stuff in particular this practice document which is pretty concise um but you know if you don't like to do that that's kind of why I'm here for this uh in any case um what we're doing with options profile which is pretty simple is we're using an algorithm so we're thinking about like time and sales here as either bought or sold right so um if a transaction comes through time in sales we for every single transaction that comes through we're saying whether we think uh it was a buy or a sell and um the the clever among you will object that well for every buyer there is a seller and for every seller there is a buyer um the typical account for this is to say well that may be true but in order for a transaction to take place somebody has to be the aggressor meaning that somebody has to cross the spread somebody has to be more willing to make that transaction than the other guy um and we also think about this in a different way if you take a look at uh metrics in the resources tab um I talk about this as uh unmatched volume meaning that or unmatched inventory um so what I mean by that is
