Federal immigration agents advance towards protesters, throwing tear gas canisters. A man subdued by the agents cries out that he has done nothing wrong. In Minneapolis, Minnesota, a 37-year-old man was killed by federal agents' gunfire, sparking clashes between protesters and forces. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security claims that a border patrol agent was promoted and approached with a Glock 19 automatic pistol and magazines, and that the agent fired in self-defense. President Trump also posted a photo of the deceased man's gun and magazines on social media, emphasizing that the federal agent's shooting was justified. However, witnesses say that six agents pounced on a man walking behind him, and he was shot multiple times while already on the ground. Democratic Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota and Mayor Jacob Frey of Minneapolis urged President Trump to withdraw the troops. With the death of 30-year-old Renee Nicole Good, 17 days after the ICE shooting, similar incidents are expected to further spread anti-immigration policy protests across the U.S. This is YTN Hong Sang in Washington.
