Couple Turns School bus into Luxury Camper | 1-Year Timelapse by ‪@skoolievanblog‬

Welcome back to Macarium. In this video, an ordinary school bus is followed as it is transformed into a one-of-a-kind adventure home crafted for journeys toward new horizons. [music] Together, Simon and Annie , a couple from Germany, set out to turn this humble bus into a warm , fully livable tiny home on wheels. Determined to chase the world's beauty with their loyal dog, Lara, by their side. [music] [music] The transformation begins with the bus being completely stripped down, allowing its true potential to surface. One by one, every non-essential and outdated interior component is removed, creating the blank canvas needed for the build . [music] [music] The existing flooring worn down by years of heavy use is carefully assessed and and prepared for removal . [music] Once the condition of the surface is fully understood , the top layer is scored with an angle grinder to divide it into manageable sections . With the surface layer now sectioned, the pieces are pried up one by one , revealing what has been concealed for decades . Moisture stains, softened wood, and areas of rust pockets are thoroughly removed The old and unnecessary components beneath the [music] bus are dismantled , freeing space for other features . Old adhesive is scraped away, rust flakes are brushed off , and the last bits of debris are cleared until the entire metal base lies open and exposed . The bus floor is completely cleared of old components as any leftover fragments can trap moisture , accelerating corrosion and causing mold growth , both of which damage the durability of the tiny home . [music] [music] To install the vent fan securely, a wooden frame is carefully built and fitted into the bus ceiling . This creates a solid foundation that supports the vent fan without flexing or shifting over time A vent fan keeps fresh air moving through the interior, preventing the buildup of moisture, heat, and stale air . Problems that can quickly appear in the compact space of a converted bus . [music] [music] It also plays a major role in temperature [music] control
