My Custom TourBox Setup That Changed How I Edit Forever

This little console literally replaces all of my keyboard shortcuts for Da Vinci Resolve. And it fixes something that I didn't even realize was slowing me down. And we're going to skip all the bloat today. This is not going to be a generic review. I'm actually just going to dive into Da Vinci Resolve and show you exactly how I've set it up and how it's been super useful for me. Now, I do want to quickly mention that Tourbox did send me this console. This is the Tourbox Elite Plus. But that being said, they just want me to give an honest opinion about how an editor or a videographer like myself would set up and use the Tourbox on a day-to-day basis. And to give you a really quick product overview, the Tourbox Elite Plus is a compact editing console that's compatible with all the major software. So like Da Vinci Resolve, Cap Cut, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, even some Paint ones. Um, but it's designed to speed up your workflow as well as give you a tactile experience when you're doing your editing or your creative work. All right, so now we're inside of Da Vinci Resolve, and this is just a regular real estate project. Now, obviously, you can use the editing console with any type of video project, but this I thought would be a pretty good example cuz we have some talking head. Uh we have a whole bunch of B-roll to work with. We're going to be doing some speed ramping with the editing console and a whole lot more. So, let's get into it. Let's start by just selecting some talking head. So, we'll start inside of the house right here. And I'm just double clicking this here uh to view it. And now I can scrub through on my timeline. I don't have the audio turned on so that it's easier for you guys to watch. But let's start with our first customizable keys. So, as you can see, he starts talking right here. I have an in and then I have an out button. So, I'm going to scrub all the way closer to the end when he's done talking right there.
