Living in the Bayverse would generally be terrifying . Imagine you're just driving down the highway , going by your normal day, when you suddenly you see giant alien robots fighting each other . You could literally get caught in the middle of an Autobot and Decepticon battle , and there's a very real chance that you're going you're going you're getting caught in the destruction . And it doesn't get much better if you're in the city . Throughout the Bayverse, entire areas are destroyed in the bat- during battles between Autobots and Decepticons . You could be minding your own business when a giant robot crashes through a building . Debris starts flying everywhere , or massive explosion happens right next to you . And this all starts with the first Transformers movie . In 2007, the Decepticons come to Earth looking for the Allspark , and the Autobots arrive to stop them . The battle eventually reaches Mission City , where the military and the Autobots fight to prevent Megatron from getting the Allspark . Now imagine actually being one of the other people . You're suddenly surrounded by giant alien robots fighting each other in the middle of your city while the military is launching attacks to stop them . From your perspective, it probably wouldn't matter who was winning . You would just be trying to survive . Then you have Revenge of the Fallen . The Decepticons return with an even bigger plan , and once again, you're running is caught in the middle . Sam Witwicky gets dragged back into the conflict with Optimus Prime and the Autobots have to stop the Fallen and the Decepticons from carrying out their plan . So already humans living in the universe have dealt with multiple massive Transformer conflicts . But then things get even crazier in Dark of the Moon
