Top 3 Budget Tools to Speed Up Color Grading in DaVinci Resolve

hey guys welcome back to the channel today I'd like to show you some of my new favorite DCS that I've been using and what makes them different from most Alternatives out there is how budget friendly they are while there are dozens of plugins and dcts online they're often quite expensive which makes it really difficult for people who are just starting out to explore different tools and expand their 2K so I'll show you three dctl that cost between 20 to 25s but if that's still too much for you I'm also going to provide alternative ways to achieve similar results with resolves built-in tools so with so without further Ado let's dive in just to give you a quick overview of my setup the clip I'm working with is filmed on Ara mirror in Lo C3 so in the group poll clip all I've done is I've used AR technical lot to Output to Rex 709 gamma 2.4 and on the clip level I've applied Minor Adjustments to the exposure and balance of my image to give us a better starting point with this out of the way let's start with the first dctl iridescent color Hue versus contrast dctl because it allows you to increase the tonal contrast of specific Hues and let me show you what that looks like in practice I'll create a new seral node and dragon drob DCT from my effects tab please not that these ctls are only available in the paid version of the Vint resolve once loaded I'll set the transfer function to arog C3 as this is my timeline color space the way I'd most commonly use this tool is to adjust the contrast ra Rao of skin tones as you can see we already have some contrast in the skin with darker areas on the left and bright er areas of the skin illuminated by the sun on the right you'll see there is no slider for skin tones
