This has got to be one of those chapters of Chainsaw Man where if you have just been appreciating everything that Fujimoto has been cooking up until this point , I have no doubt in my mind that you will love everything that this story beat has and what it can entail for the future of the story . Whereas, if you have not been appreciating where the story has been going , you've been thinking that this final fight has just been meandering and not really having much point , I have a feeling that you are just going to feel even more disconnected by this chapter. And it's . And it's been a very controversial and split road when it comes to the finale of Chainsaw Man Part Two. Not that part two hasn't already been kind of a mixed review and a mixed bag in and of itself , but honestly with the way that Fujimoto does take into account really obscure ideas into his story , that has always been something that keeps me enticed and waiting for more because it really does take a special kind of person to take into account that there are species that without death existing would just breed infinitely and just create so many offspring that it overwhelms every other species on Earth and just create so many . And again, it's one of those things where you just either love Fujioto for the weird and zany things that he focuses on , or you just absolutely hate how disjointed all of this seems . Because in all fairness, the insect devils specifically getting a massive power boost from death being a race just makes so much sense . If you're familiar with the way that insects and mammals have their differences in breeding , mammals, they have a couple young . They do their best to care for it, raise it, and make sure that it survives . Whereas insects almost sometimes, depending on the breed, daily will lay over thousands of eggs and have thousands of young hatch from those eggs. The difference is is mostly 99% of those offspring are just going to die either through weather, misfortune
