in this video we're heading back over to Johnno to learn a looks jump on the floor again another toe jump so quite difficult to replicate off ice and it's going to be very similar to the flip jump in that there are two sort of ways to do it a slightly more basic way which is better for your single looks jumps so if I imagine I'm coming around my back crossovers setting up on my left foot here ready to start my look to take off the biggest difference between this and a flip jump is when you dig your toe in you want to think about diggin g your toe in on the left side of your left foot so if your left foot is drawing a line back here when you dig in for your right story for your flip it will be digging in behind you for the Lutz jump it will be digging in to the left side so that is going to help you recreate that outside edge that you so desperately need for your looks jump so that you don't get an interchange called in competition so we're going again same arms left arm front right arm strongly behind the right toe stretches back behind you transfer the weight onto the right type of pick and jump landing in your position in your nice strong landing position so when you're setting up for your for your Lutz jump again strong arms left arm in front right on behind right leg is tucked in to that left foot you're on it hanging out here either side you want it tucked in nice and efficient then when it draws back remember is going to be drawing back and behind to the left side of the left foot so you can replicate that sort of outside edge feeling you're going to transfer your weight onto the right foot [Music] pushing up into the air so as you jump up into the air that's when your arms drive through as well not only your arms but your hips again once that right toe goes in your hips are twisted to the right as they start to start whipping that rotation get you around that single jump it's a sort of a little key secret that's quite hard to figure out but once you get that feeling it's gonna feel amazing can help you with that rotation again left arm in front right arm behind right toe goes back jump into the air for your full rotation landing with a nice strong landing position so the thing you want to be careful with when doing that technique though is as you've driven your right leg back and behind you here
