hey I'm Rebecca and we're here today to talk about my set up my first DJ set up to 12 10 and AM a two phase mixer and then I moved to see DJ which I found was pretty was an easier way the flow was a lot quicker and then I got kind of bored of mixing just two and then I kind of discovered tractor and it was guys like Rich Horton and the boy who was really heavy smoking tractor what I will say is for a long time thinking I was mixing for challenge without doing any like pre work on the on the way form I was literally not speak gridding anything but then at some point the more professional I got and the more I sign up more often it just made sense to get everything really tight and and then now I'm incorporating the drum machine and a bass machine and everything has to be specified if it's not like usually it doesn't make any sense so this is my setup I have the three controllers to my right and they are connected USB to a hub and then the hub goes into the laptop via USB then I have the rme sound card which is connected via firewire and thunderbolt to the laptop with the four channels open here on the Alan and he's 92 then I have the TRA which is used through the send in return channel too but that's also connected to the laptop via USB then I have the cord falker base which is running through the three pedals and it's going through the distortion the delay and the reverb and it goes it's a mono signal this is quite important so this is a mono signal which goes mono into the distortion mono into
