Hi everyone, Aaron here for zolotete and Apple released Mac OS 27 beta 1 that they're calling GoldenGate. Mac OS 27 beta 1 is available to developers and will release to public beta testers in July. But currently it's available to all developers worldwide no matter where you are. Now Apple dropped support for Intel Max this year. So, there's no longer any Intel Macs that are supported, but it does support the latest MacBook Neo, any MacBook Air with Apple Silicon from 2020 and later, MacBook Pro with Apple Silicon 2020 and later, iMac with Apple Silicon 2021 and later, Mac Mini with Apple Silicon 2020 and later, Mac Studio, and Mac Pro with Apple Silicon from 2023. Now, this came in at 17.05 GB. This is on an M5 MacBook Air. And this particular update was released alongside many other updates with iOS 27, iPad OS 27, watch OS 27, tvOS 27, and Vision OS 27. Now, before we talk about new features, let's take a look at the build number. We'll go to the Apple, then about this Mac, and then if we click on Mac OS 27, you'll see here the build number is 26A5353Q. So, we have a ways to go until it releases to the public, but there are some new features that make this a lot better experience compared to Mac OS Tahoe. The first thing is overall refinements. Apple is focusing on quality and refinement this year across all of the OSS. So, all of the 27 OSS with faster performance here, faster network file browsing, faster airdrop, faster loading of content in Safari, and it's much more responsive already than Mac OS Tahoe. When it comes to design, Apple has updated liquid glass. You may have already noticed down here at the bottom, the dock looks more glass-like, but we can adjust this if we don't like it. For example, if we go into our system settings and then we go under appearance, we now have a system slider for liquid glass. So, it's in the middle now. If I want it more glass-like, I can do that. Or if I want to get rid of glass entirely, I can do that as well. So, we can change this around for whatever works best for us. And just maybe I'll bring it to the middle here and leave it where it is. But this gives you an idea of what it looks like as you adjust the slider. So again, all the way to glass and it doesn't look like it has a dramatic effect, but remember this is a first beta. So there's going to be a few things that don't work properly.
