I'm very proud of myself. So I just this morning put antifoul on Wind Dancer and I just booked it in to go in the water next week. And I'll show you a couple of things I've done. I've filled in the bits of um where it had osmosis and uh antifoul I've put that blue boot strap on. The main work has been the sail drive. So um it had had electrolysis. Um so I ground it all back and there was quite a good a lot of good aluminum there. There was a hole here, hole here and then a hole here but it still had all the oil on it and the oil looked good. I thought I should just hope. When I first ground it up I was like, "Nah, this is broken. It's like not going to be savable." But then I had a bit of luck and I was like, "No, it can." So I plated the hole with aluminum and I epoxied it on and then put another sheet over here covering that whole area where I perceived there might be weak spots. And now I've just antifouled it, glued this back up, put the propeller back together and it's working good. And now with the antifoul the boat I've just booked the boat in to go in next week in the water and I'm feeling really really really good about it. And I'll tell you why I'm feeling good about it. Cuz this boat has been had been sitting in the yard here for I don't know how long and no one was taking it on. And they were right down to a thousand dollars selling it for. Which is I mean it's a fiberglass cruising yacht, 28-foot long. Look at it. It's beautiful. And um but you know, everyone sort of saw that and thought it would be too hard. And um it's fixed now and I've and I'll tell you why I feel good about it. Cuz I've saved the boat. You know, that's imagine all that going to landfill. And the boat yard's happy about it cuz it's sold out going in the water. They want the space back. But it's beautiful. I feel really proud. It's nice to see all the skills you've learned in your life um coming in to to do something positive. I am I'm not the most skilled person, don't get me wrong.
