Europe is once again moving ahead with new regulations. On January 1st, '26, the new EU directive DAC 8 comes into effect. Every move, every transfer, every transaction will become part of a global EU database. And DAC 8 is not a distant future; it will be reality starting January 1st, 2026. DAC 8 is an EU directive that will give governments full insight into your finances. Officially, as always, for your security; unofficially, to gain full control. This is not a conspiracy theory, but an officially adopted document by the European Union. A document that starts operating from January 1st next year. In this video, you will learn the assumptions of the new law, how these regulations will affect your life, and most importantly, how you can protect yourself from them. If you want to learn more, we invite you to watch. DAC 8 is an EU directive adopted back in 2023, with member states required to implement it by the end of 2025. And what does the new law entail? Primarily, it covers so-called CASPs. CASPs, meaning, among others, cryptocurrency exchanges. What will be reported? All purchase and sale transactions, name, surname, PESEL number. The Tax Office will receive your exact activity on the crypto exchange on a silver platter. But that's not all. Digital platforms such as the well-known Booking, Uber, or Airbnb, and all kinds of fintechs, will also be subject to reporting. Commonly known Revolut or Zen. And what does this mean for you? Nothing more, nothing less: nothing will be hidden from the Polish tax authorities. And how does it work? Very simply. The provider obliged to report must first identify the tax residency. If you live in Europe, you will certainly be subject to the new regulations. The next step is data collection and annual reporting. How will this work? Revolut, for example, will collect data in Lithuania and transfer it
