Path of Exile for Complete Noobs

Hi, Zizin here with Path of Exile 101. This is a video for completely new players that want to try Path of Exile, but it is a very overwhelming game. And yeah, this is going to be like a full intro cover like the basics of the game. Um, for people that do like a very hands-on experience, I have a second type of video or series that I'm doing, but it's going to be called Everything Explained. And that is a very long form format, six to eight hours um of me playing through the game at a way slower speed than normal and um I will be playing a character but also explaining everything in the game that I find um or at least as much as possible. So there are two different ways to learn. This might be a good start and then maybe you want to try that as well. And for that you play along at the same time kind of like Bob Ross painting. But let's start talking about Path of Exile. First off, what is Path of Exile? Well, Path of Exile is an isymmetric ARPG. It looks like this. Um, and you might have seen like crazy crazy examples of the combat. Um, looking insane. But there are some builds like this as well that is like a little bit more um easy to understand what's going on. But, you know, in general, there is a lot going on in this game. And Path of Exile um has mouse and controller options, does not yet have WSD. So, for the most part, most of us are moving around with the mouse and we're using um the keyboard for our abilities, you etc. Um that's how we play. Online play is only on official servers. There is no offline client. Some of you might be familiar with games like Last Epoch, etc. Um, that have an offline mode. Path of Exile does not. So, this not something that you can play your internet host down. You have both solo and group play. You can play alone and everything in the game can be done completely alone. There is no content where you are required to have a friend. You can play in groups of up to six total.
