slow down speeds for overhangs on bamboo studio along with using an active cooling fan one of the best things you can do to help print clean overhangs is to print them slow even with all the sensors and ability this printer has to print fast overhangs will always print a bit cleaner the slower they are printed luckily bamboo studio slicer has factored this in so you can still print fast but have your overhang angles print slower than the rest of your print this can be found in the speed section of bamboo studio after checking on the advanced button the rest of these speeds will be covered in another video but for now we are just looking at slow down for overhangs when you have slow down for overhangs checked it will show you different speed settings now what these percentages refer to is a little bit confusing and i will cover it shortly but you should know that these speeds are slower than your outer shell wall settings meaning your outer shell wall will slow down when printing overhangs if you have one of these set to zero it will default to the speed of whatever you set your outer shell wall to what i'm about to cover isn't necessarily needed to know you should just know that the steeper the overhang you have the slower the printer will print but let's cover the percentages now these are percentage ranges meaning the first is 10 to 25 percent second is 25 to 50 percent and so on here's a graphic to explain what the percentages refer to it is the distance the individual layer is overhanging divided by your line with l1 refers to the amount your layer is overhanging and l2 refers to the outer wall line width you take l1 and divided
